Inklings Bookshop was established in 1995 in downtown Lynchburg, with a vision to promote "the good, the true, and the beautiful," with a special concern for fostering good reading from a Christian world-view.
The bookshop offers a wide variety of new, used, and rare books, with an emphasis on religion, philosophy, literature, children's books and classical education. There are also strong sections of local and Civil War history, plus a wide variety of books in many areas of interest. We are happy to order for you any book that is in print, and can assist you in out-of-print searches as well.
Inklings gladly extends an everyday 10% discount to ministers, teachers, and college students. We offer special discounts for orders from schools and churches. We also can provide a book table for your special event.
