Martha has been finding an audience throughout the southeast due to increased touring, her work on the Sony Classics film JUNEBUG, festival appearances, and numerous articles in the press.
Martha and her band have opened for Lyle Lovett and played at Merlefest.
Out of A Blue Sky is a group of musicians from Central VA who play what they refer to as "Future Roots" Jazz. Its jazz that is solidly grounded in the traditions of the greats of the past, but also owes a lot to the country blues of Taj Mahal, the songsmithing of Joni Mitchell, and the creative juice of its core players.

Montana Slim String Band
The Montana Slim String Band from San Francisco will be swinging through the East and we're lucky enough to have them come to The White Hart to play.
Okay, so their name is Montana Slim & they’re from San Francisco, but
it doesn’t matter where they’re from, they can play and and they can sing! They’ve
got their own take on roots music & Bluegrass.
Traditional Bluegrass from local favorites, In The Tradition.
They have been playing for 14 years, have recorded 8 CDs, and have
played shows and festivals in VA, NC, SC, GA, KY, MD, and WV.
Traditional style Bluegrass & Bluegrass Gospel, old country Bluegrass style and their own originals.
